Adrienne N. Hester, I am a results-focused, out-of-the-box thinking integrated marketing and communications strategist with a successful history of developing local and national campaigns. My strengths are my creativity, drive, and leadership. I thrive on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach. I am experienced in all facets of external and internal communications in corporate, entrepreneurial and nonprofit settings, brand launches, and brand concept re-imaging. I am a seasoned writer and editor, with experience in direct marketing, creative, account services, social media, and public relations writing press releases, statements, talking points, blog posts, and advisories. My knowledge base includes publishing, lifestyle, nonprofit and gaming industries. These attributes combined with my ability to build awareness and grow businesses provides me a unique perspective and voice.
I take pride in my community and enjoy volunteering my time helping to prepare the next generation of leaders, especially those in underserved communities. I divide my time between several professional organizations including Global Gaming Women, Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association, National Association of Black Public Relations Professionals, National Association of Black Journalists, The Las Vegas (NV) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, and Theta Theta Omega Las Vegas Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I also have been involved with OV Nation, Opportunity Village, and was an advisory council member of the Southern Nevada Affiliate of Susan G. Komen; an inaugural cabinet board member of Project Dinner Table, a pop-up dinner celebrating community and philanthropy through local food prepared by celebrity chefs, and Habitat for Humanity.
I hold a B.A. from the Greenspun School of Communications with an emphasis in Corporate Communications, Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
